{Playing as Stephanie Brown, Batgirl! ^^}
~Stephanie looked her opponent in the eye. She had trained for this her whole life...Well...Not her whole life, but it sounds cooler that way. The man looked back at her, creepy not visible eyes glaring back at her. She felt nervous, yet calm at the same time. He was waiting for her.... Waiting for her to strike. She may not have been the best detective, but she could sense that. He was a creepy man, and she had to admit, he frightened her. He frightened many people, and she knew that. Finally, bundling up every bit of courage she had, Stephanie ran to him, aiming a fist at his chest. Not surprisingly, her punch never landed, and as a 'thank you', she got her face stuck in the ground. Yeesh, never realized how into training I'd get sometimes. Her scenario melted away like ice in a microwave, and she found herself in the Batcave, with Batman standing next to her, holding out his hand to help her off the ground. As she stood up, she looked around the cave. The cave reassured her. It felt like...A home... A home where she didn't have to get caught up in 'Family Game Night'. Groaning, she looked over to where Batman was. He was gone, almost like he was never there. For a second, she thought she may have been hallucinating the whole training session, before realizing that he was next to the batcomputer, talking to Oracle. Stephanie slumped down to the ground, placing her elbow in the ground beside her, and resting her cheek against her clenched fist. In her silence, she was able to hear a bit of their conversation. Not much, but enough to widen her eyes and catch her attention. Out of all the things they could've been talking about, the one thing Stephanie heard was...: "...Not as good as the others..."
