Story Telling
Since this is an RPG Board I thought it would be easier for posters to use the name of the story as the Title of the Thread in the various places around Gotham and to use Part Numbers like Chapters so people who come to the Board can follow the story from the beginning and join in at it’s current place.
For Example:
Our first story A Dark Night In Gotham has Part 1 start in the Batcave and then move to Part 2 in Gotham Streets when the story moves from Gotham Streets to another place it will be marked Part 3 and so on and so on.
Should the story come back to the same place (i.e. Gotham Streets) it would be given the next Part Number, Part 4 or 5 or whatever the next chapter of the story is.
In addition I’ve used [ ] at the begining of a Post in a new place to show where the story came from and at the end of the last Post in a place to show where the story has gone to.
For Example: [Continued from The Batcave] and [Continued in Gotham Streets]
This should make this easier for everyone to follow the story as it progresses.

It seems that most, if not all, of the RPG threads that have been started here are in First Person. Some start that way, right into dialogue, while others do have a paragraph or two of description, only to then make the jump to dialogue with no turning back.
This is not the way to attract other members toward you're story.
Why?
Because we don't know what's in your head. We don't know where you want to take the story. Also, you the initiator haven't left the end of your post very general.
Please, if you'd like to rpg, have an open ended post/story that any member/character can leap into...
